Our Session Types
We offer three services, each for a distinct purpose.
Courts of Heaven (COH)
Courts of Heaven is where we go together with our advocate, Jesus Christ, and our comforter, Holy Spirit, into the heavenly courtroom where Father God presides as the Righteous Judge whose judgment is always love. It is our most flexible protocol of intercession, useful for a wide range of purposes: to achieve breakthrough, petition for justice, to discover answers, to start with firm foundations that pave the way for success, and to consult with the Lord about matters individual, organizational, and regional. It is here that we deal with curses, threshold issues, birthright issues, ungodly patterns, unrighteous signs in the spirit, and cold cases we have not been able to resolve through effort or persistence in prayer. Daniel 7 gives an example of the courts in action.
During this 2-3 hour session, we will do the following together:
Talk about the issue you perceive. Maybe you can’t get traction on a goal, or you notice a destructive pattern in your family, or you feel oppressed by unfairness or lack of favor in your life.
Take communion together as a reminder that Jesus is in us, and we are in him.
Follow Jesus into whichever court he prefers. There are a lot of courts!
Report what is happening in the court through our collective prophetic seer gift.
Say or do what we are prompted to say or do, including repenting, forgiving, testifying, petitioning, and so forth.
Recommendation: Usually one session is sufficient to address a single, specific issue.
Personhood (Spirit, Soul, Body)
Our Father God made us to be a gift to the world, full of treasure, hopes, dreams. This amounts to our “destiny” or kingdom assignment. However, both Trauma A (Absence of good things) and Trauma B (Bad things done to us) in our life and generational past can shatter us — spirit, soul, and body.
But Jesus does not leave us there. It is Jesus’ mission and joy to restore us to Father God’s original intent and design. He longs to pick up our burdens, heal our wounds, and collect our records of wrongs and hurts, so that he can get justice and restitution for “everything the locusts have stolen.” Jesus longs to heal wholly and completely.
Your life today can be different from yesterday if you will let him do his “sozo” saving work.
Your wounds may show up in these ways:
Feeling absent while present.
Inability to experience the loving presence of God.
Antagonistic conversations in your head.
Painful events in the past that you “can’t seem to let go.”
Addictions and other modes of self-sabotage.
Lack of ambition, purpose, or interest in life.
Emotionally numb or overwrought.
Sudden situational confusion, forgetfulness, or mental fog.
Recommendation: We encounter pain and trauma over time, so those effects are best rolled back over time. We generally recommend committing to six 2-hour sessions at regular intervals. But as you probably already know, complex issues are not typically resolved in a day, or even six. Your mileage will certainly vary. The Lord knows and can provide what you need. During the sessions, you will also gain new understanding and tools to exercise on your own.
Ministry to the Human Spirit (SpiritNurture)
Before God knit us in our mother’s womb at conception, he knew our human spirit, which was awake and aware. For many of us, our spirits are woefully neglected and ignored while our traumatized souls get all the attention. But your spirit is God’s gift to the world, so when your spirit is slighted, the world misses out.
Wouldn’t you like to wake up your spirit (some call this the “inner man”) and get to know him or her?
A spirit that is fully engaged clearly manifests the 7 redemptive gifts listed in Isaiah 11:1-2, with one standing out in particular focus as your primary redemptive gift. Knowing this special portion will help you feel that you finally know yourself and why you have the quirks, strengths, weaknesses, and compulsions that you do.
Recommendation: If you want to know yourself fully and soar freely in every life situation, we recommend six 2-hour sessions at regular intervals. During those sessions, you will also gain new skills and tools that you can exercise on your own.
