💲Tax Season, Ahoy!
Tax season is upon us. I've been thinking about money lately, and maybe you have, too. Jesus' mind was clearly on it during his ministry. 11 of his 39 parables are about issues of wealth, stewardship, payments, and possessions. He even had a little something to say about taxes.
Spiritual Issues. Some of our sessions in the courts of heaven pertain to money matters of inheritance, lack of flow, problems with employment, or excessive random expenses.
When we realize our financial life looks nothing like the promised peace of "green pastures" and "quiet waters," we take these issues to the Lord to discover if there are accusations against us in the spirit realm that need to be dealt with.
Jesus as our advocate enables us to resolve those issues with petitions to the court, and the Righteous Judge takes great pleasure in rendering "victory decrees" and righteous verdicts. He has an interest in our receiving what He meant for us to have as our Good Father. He needs us to be properly equipped to create and do the good works he had in mind for us, with more than enough to enjoy ourselves in this life.
Many times, things shift in the natural (physical) realm as they are dealt with in the supernatural realm. (And if they don't, we head back to court to see what else is going on!)
Human Issues. We also have the human task of resisting chaos and disorder by setting things up for a state of shalom (peace) where systems and habits are in order. This is not natural for me, so I’ve been spending some quality time with Gemini AI to set up some processes and checklists to catch me up and keep me going.

Testimony: Scott and his wife Heidi currently live and work in Edinburgh, Scotland, where the church is thriving! A couple of Sundays ago, their preacher shared how after a 7-year period of difficulties, God had blessed the congregation in the several years since then. And just recently a donor—out of the blue—had just paid off the mortgage of almost half a million dollars, making this corner of the body of Christ is now debt free, hallelujah!
